(More customer reviews)Ok, you can all see this is a gorgeous bag, right? I ordered the Peacock to use as an everyday handbag, since my son is now 9. Beautiful craftsmanship and very sturdy. Quite spacious too. However, the internal organization is practically nonexistent! Where I see other brands having as many as eight interior pockets, some zip, some slip, some elastic, the Eleanor only has three open slip pockets along one wall. Nothing else (except those two exterior side pockets, one good for a compact umbrella, one for putting the cell phone in easy reach). No pockets under the flap, no slip pocket across the back. It seems like opportunities for storage were skimped on. Yes, I could organize by having small pouches in my bag, but then it makes things much harder to get to. It's such a big bag that everything just jumbles up in the bottom.
Also, the strap was just barely long enough to make this a comfortable cross-body bag for me. Anyone taller than about 5'6" (which is what I am) is probably going to find the bag riding up into her armpit if it's worn cross-body. I could have lived with that, though, if only there had been more than just those three pockets.

Petunia Pickle Bottom Sashay Satchel Diaper Bag Review

(More customer reviews)The description says 4 internal bottle pockets. It's really 2 inside and 2 outside. Personally I don't think the pockets outside can hold a bottle though I haven't tried yet. The bag is exactly as pictured. The hide away straps to turn it into a backpack is sweet. It's like a secret extra pocket. There is a large front pocket with a magnet closure for mommy things. The changing pad is a nice size but I was expecting a it to be a tiny bit thicker. There's a wipe case. And a key holder.
Overall I'm happy with this bag. I think I'll be using it a long time.

(More customer reviews)I've tried I think 5 other bags and was always frustrated with something about those bags. Either I couldn't find anything, it was uncomfortable on my shoulder, it had stupid flaps I never used, or the bottle holder was small and unusable in an over stuffed bag. I'm so happy with this bag. I can find everything, thanks to lots of pockets both inside and outside. Its roomier on the inside and has only one should strap. It has the stroller rings for heavy duty attachment to the stroller. There are a couple cons that I'm willing to live with. First, it has the bottle holder I hate, where the pocket for it is inside the bag. Meaning you have to have room inside your bag in order to fit a bottle in that zippered pocket. But so far, the bag is big enough that I haven't had too many problems like previous bags that didn't allow for stuff and bottle to be in the bag. 2nd, the strap isn't padded and sometimes my bag is heavy. The more annoying feature about the strap is it loosens up by itself and I prefer it at its shortest. But, on a day to day basis none of these problems ruin my day or wear me done. I love this bag. In my case the 6th bag is the charm. I just wish I had bought this first.

(More customer reviews)I was so excited to receive my Ju Ju Be Be All Diaper Bag at my baby shower. Ju Ju Be has some very cute patterns and the material seemed to be more durable then the petunia pickle bottom bags which always seem ratty after some time.
Pros: There is pleny of space in this bag. If you need a bigger diaper bag for daily use buy a full size rolling suitcase. You can fit what you need for daily outings and not have to constantly refill, diapers, toys, an outfit, wipes, etc. For weekend trips you will need another bag. There are plenty of pockets inside, outside could use one or two more. The light color inside makes things easy to find.
Cons:
I agree with some other reviewers the "Mommy Pocket" is useless as it is in the front flap of the bag which does not need to be any bulkier. Also another reviewer mentioned the straps slide out of place. I am constantly readjusting the straps on this bag many times a day which is frustrating. The bottle pockets with silver relective material on the side gets dirty and frayed fast. Many people have commented that the bag does not hold it's shape, and it does look like a floppy mess after a few uses. These things I could have lived with, until my bag has become completely faded after 6 months of use! For me the key to Ju Ju Be is how cute all the patterns look on their bags, well mine looked cute for about 3 months. Now it just looks like worn outdoor furniture. I was not planning on having to replace this expensive diaper bag so soon. I will not be buying another Ju Ju Be bag.
Update: After this review my Ju Ju Be has been sitting the closet, too much of a disaster to show in public, as if mom's need any more help looking tired. My Husband bought me the Skip Hop Deluxe Duo for my birthday six months ago and I think it is wonderful! It has clips sewn into the bag that attach to your stroller for a clean look, much easier than the Ju Ju Be metal clips which break your nails. My husband also is able to carry this bag without embarassment, as for the Ju Ju Be bag, he carried it like a sick and wet allergic cat. For the price of the Ju Ju Be bag you could buy two Skip Hop Bags! Spend money on your stroller, not your diaper bag.

(More customer reviews)I really wanted to find a diaper bag that would be easy to carry around so that I wouldn't have to juggle the bag, the baby, and my purse. I knew that a backpack bag would be perfect for me. Also, I wanted to make sure that it would be something that my husband wouldn't mind carrying around either. This bag is wonderful. I was so excited when it came in the mail. You open it up all the way, and it doubles as a changing station. It's also great because the changing pad is removeable and very easy to clean - just wipe it down.
It's actually bigger than it looks. I was able to fit two outfits, two pairs of socks, two caps, a sleeper outfit, and a pair of shoes in just one side. In the other side I put a handful of diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream, hand sanitizer, and a roll of small trash bags. I was still able to to fit four pacifiers, pacifier wipes, and a pacifier clip in the top pockets, which I didn't even realize it had when I purchased it. Also, behind the changning pad there is another compartment, which is where I decided to put two receiving blankets. And, of course, there are the two bottle compartments on the sides. These are great too, because they are padded and help keep drinks insulated.
Another reason I love this bag is because you don't have to open up the whole thing to find what you are looking for. You can just unzip the front pockets and grab what you need. Everything is easy to find.
I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a simple, easy to use, functional diaper bag. Also, the price is really great too.

(More customer reviews)It is a beautiful bag and I love the canvas material it is made of. It seems light and sturdy. The bag weights about 2.8 LB including all straps and changing pad. The backpack straps are built-in and when you want to stow the straps away, you just unclip the bottom clips, place the backpack straps in the zippered compartment in the back, and zip up. You can also store the messenger strap in this pocket. Nice and neat. The side pockets can accommodate 17oz water bottles, although if you put one bottle each side, it may take away a little space away from the main compartment. I love the additional outside front pocket -- a good mommy pocket if you don't mind your smart phone near the magnets. I love the 2 stationary insulated bottle pockets inside, again large enough even for adult water bottles. Under the messenger flap is a deep zippered pocket.
But a few things bother me. I hope timi and leslie can improve on.
1)The inside lining is dark chocolate. Very very hard to see, especially it is a deep bag. It seems I have to "scoop" the bottom of the main compartment to make sure things did not get forgotten. The lining in the main compartment is not sewn down. You can flip it out and get rid of crumbs, etc.. which is good, but on the flip side, it often creates crevices and hard to see the bottom of the bag.
2)In the backpack mode, the hard board at the bottom of the bag pokes at my back. The company should get rid of the cardboard and instead, reinforce the bottom with leather to give it structure.
3)back of the bag is not padded for comfort.
These are deal-breakers for me. They may not bother you.
Another minor complaint i have is it takes two efforts with one hand or takes 2 hands to close both flaps, because each flap has 2 small magnets at the corners. Not a big deal... but for a mom on the go, it could be annoying.
Also, pay attention to the picture of the internal main compartment. That is how big it is... not very big but it's deep. It is because of the 2 inside insulated bottle holders taking up space.

I only got it yesterday so I may be premature in my review but I was easily able to transfer the contents of my old diaper bag and have things well organized. My traveling entourage is a 2.5yr old and a newborn (due in a week) so I need things to be well compartmentalized and have room to carry a lot. I never knew Fisher Price made diaper bags so this was a surprise.
Pros:
- Love the easy-access wipes slot
- Little unobtrusive tags on some of the pockets are useful for someone searching for something (not really visible in the photos of the bag online)
- Good support on the straps makes the bag comfortable to carry on one or both shoulders
- Nice amount of pockets on the outside of the bag
- Insulated outside pocket good for snacks too.
- Material seems very durable and rugged. Easily washable too.
Cons:
- Would have liked more color options than just brown
- Would have liked maybe one or two more pockets inside or perhaps a little matching wallet for Mommy.
My cons are more wishful thinking because it's really hard to find a good backpack-style diaper bag that is useful and had some Mommy-thought put into it (the wipes pocket is genius) and at this price, I still have to give it 5-stars.

(More customer reviews)I just got this bag and I love it! It is absolutely gorgeous. I get compliments on it wherever I go, no one can believe THIS is a diaper bag! The bag is incredibly roomy inside but you would never know by looking at it, it is so sleek looking. The material is soft and cleans really easily. There are a lot of compartments to fit all of baby's stuff plus your own. The best part is, with other diaper bags if I was going somewhere "adult" I would have to switch my bag so I wouldn't be embarrassed because I was carrying a diaper bag but with the Annette when I am going out without the kiddies, I just empty the diapers, wipes, extra clothes and bottles and go---nothing to be embarrassed about with this beautiful and sophisticated bag. It is lightweight and sturdy, great bag all around, I highly recommend it!!!!!

(More customer reviews)I bought this diaper bag after wearing out a similar bag made by Columbia a few years ago. I wanted something spacious, not something like a Skip Hop bag that requires you to wedge everything in tightly. For example, this bag allows me to carry everything I need AND put my camera inside instead of carrying a separate camera bag. It is rugged and they seem to have strengthened the foil liner in the bottle compartment.
Could be improved: Each zipper has only one pull, it would be nice if they had two. Also, the zippers seem to start at the wrong end when you are wearing the bag. If you are wearing it on your right hip, you have to pull the zipper BACK to close it, which can be difficult. It would be easier the other way and adding another pull would resolve this and the fact that it can be hard to pull the zipper around the (rounded) corners. The handles seem unnecessary to us.
But overall, happy with this bag.
