I am not one to splurge on myself but when I saw this bag I really wanted it. I was sick of obvious diaper bags that were either shiny plastic, had animals all over them, or were too bulky.
I am the mother of a 6 year old, 2 year old & 6 month old. I am able to store all the diapers (about 10), wipes (an entire refill pack), powder, change of clothes, a few toys and changing pad that I need for the youngest two There are inside pockets to put other things. I usually hold powder & other necessities in there. There are two side zipper compartments to store bottles & it doesn't appear insulated but it kept the bottles warm for several hours.
There is a detachable zippered pouch that I store my wallet & credit cards in. No more fumbling it's very easy to access.
The strap is adjustable. There are pegs on the bottom that protect the fabric when put on the ground. There are also 2 zippered areas on the front that I use to hold my wallet, keys, cell phone, pacifiers, etc.
I also want to add I don't travel light. My husband often rolls his eyes at the multitude of items I must bring the kids for even the shortest trips & this bag manages to carry what I need.

I have used this bag every day for the past four years with my three children. The strap is only now starting to show signs of wear and tear. Great bag at a great price.

(More customer reviews)Yes, it is a small bag. However, there are no other diaper bag out there so small yet has 2 very generous external pockets for bottles/sippy cups. My bag measures approximately 11" x 9" x 2-3" I am able to put my cell phone and keys in the two external front pocket, some tissue in the back slip pocket with velcro. Inside there is a large pocket and a zip pocket. I am able to put a small wallet, the included change mat, wipes, 4 diapers, a small tube of ointment, and a small snack. My husband love to take this bag for neighborhood walk/jog and and to neighborhood playground, when it is not necessary to bring the entire nursery. We love the bottle pockets, you can fit adult water bottles in them too. Plus, it has the storksak special built-in stroller attachment. If you want a big bag this is not for you. This is a small bag for when you just want to bring the essentials for a few hours out.

My package contains 4 green covers, one orange, and one WHITE. As far as I'm concerned, in the world of diaper covers, white is not a color. I specifically order colors to avoid the staining that sometimes happens with white covers and I find the overall color selection disappointing.

It has plenty of room and is laid out in a way that gives me plenty of options for what to put where. For those who prefer smaller handbags this might be a little too large, but I have a large bag, and it helps to keep the bag's shape.

(More customer reviews)I use this for carrying my meals to work. It does not scream "DIAPER BAG!" but that is what it is designed for. Unfortunately, all the gathered fabric on the inside meant for carrying baby bottles takes up a lot of room and decreases the carrying capacity for my plastic bowls. It is very well constructed and can handle the weight of my extra water bottles but the clips on the handle are delicate and are bad about coming undone when the bag is tossed down so that I end up having a strap in hand instead of a handle when I pick it up. But they are easily re-attached. I do still use it but would not spend so much money the next time around.

(More customer reviews)I must admit that when I decided to purchase a diaper backpack I was overwhelmed with the choices on the market. There are soooooo many to choose from. I really looked into 3 diaper backpacks and one everyday backpack. The 3 that I narrowed my list to were the Sherpa Baby, Diaper Dude, and the KinArt active backpack that I stumbled across on accident. The advertising and promoting of this diaper backpack is nowhere near what it is for the other 2. For the everyday backpack I looked at a Jansport Unhinged Backpack. All 3 backpacks were similarly priced, so price was not a factor in my decision. After close inspection I loved the fact that the KinArt had the eco fabric that is antibacterial, and antifungal. I loved that it came in the khaki color (although the DiaperDude backpack had numerous colors) and I loved that the changing pad was also made in the eco fabric. I did not have much more to go on as there were not many images online of the KinArt, but now that I have it I am inlove. Everything is nice and roomy... a big factor in me not getting the Baby Sherpa was the huge space occupied by a cooler. I do not need a cooler and was not willing to give up this much space for one. The Kin Art does not have a cooler, and I like that. There are 3 sections, from front to back getting progressively larger. There are also 2 side pockets, and one of the sections has a laundry bag attached that is great for wet clothes, bibs, or anything that you want to keep seperate. I also loved the khaki color in person. The picture does it no justice. I am so glad that I gave this bag a try and I hope that KinArt starts promoting this bag, it is definitely a winner! Almost forgot, I was also impressed with all the padding on the part that sits on your back... very nice!

(More customer reviews)Let me start by saying that aesthetically I love the bag. I have the black one and get tons of compliments on it. The problem is with the construction. The first bag I had lasted 3 weeks and the lining completely shredded and the strap was starting to rip on the outside. It looked like the strap hadn't been sewn right from the start. I wasn't overstuffing the bag so the fact that the lining just shredded apart was a huge disappointment. I contacted Amy Kathryn since I had bought it from another site other than Amazon. They offered to repair the bag if I paid to ship it to them. I needed a diaper bag and since this was still brand new I decided to have it repaired. They ended up sending me a new bag. I figured they would since the lining didn't appear to be repairable. I was very happy with the customer service I received and their willingness to work with me. Well, I had the second bag 2 weeks and AGAIN the lining started ripping and shredding. I was disgusted. I love the bag and it holds the perfect amount for my 3 month old, but I don't have the patience to deal with my diaper bag falling apart constantly. I sewed it together the best I could, but I would not buy another one of these bags. For the money I expect to have a high quality product that will last longer than a month!
